My particular expertise is in integrating media, talent, content and consumer brands, in order to create highly visible campaigns that drive sales and deliver brand value. I understand the value of New Media and believe in a 360º approach that crosses over both the online and online space.

Greg Brookes Personal Training

I have been fortunate to have worked with some of the very best personal trainers over the past decade, helping them to grow their business and their awareness. I first met Greg Brookes in 2010 when he was seeking a bigger presence in the media. I can honestly say that I have not worked with anyone with such a passionate interest in fitness and commitment to understanding the science behind it all. Having qualified myself in Exercise to Music as an instructor a few years earlier, and with a solid foundation of understanding the basics of fat loss, strength and conditioning training, I was very quickly able to generate national newspapers articles for Greg – sometimes on a weekly basis! Not afraid to shy away from contentious stories, Greg very quickly learned the basics of PR – that every story needs a ‘hook’. While working for him, Greg was featured in Men’s Health, FHM, the Daily Mail, the Independent, Women’s Fitness, People magazine, RED magazine and many more.

One of the most inspirational and motivating trainers I have had the pleasure to work with, Greg now runs a very successful online training and fitness apps business.

LazyTown

Two years ago Stunning PR spotted an opportunity for their client LazyTown to support Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move campaign designed to combat childhood obsesity. Through a combination of good timing and Stunning’s great contacts, two weeks later LazyTown was having a meeting in the White House.

The results of that meeting and further meetings came to fruition in July 2012 when LazyTown’s lead chaacter, Sportacus filmed a public service announcement with Michelle Obama in support of her campaign, ‘Let’s Move.’

The three PSAs, filmed in the East Room of The White House, feature First Lady Michelle Obama, Chica the Chicken, host of Sprout’s hit The Sunny Side Up Show, and larger-than-life action hero Sportacus from the popular LazyTown series, which can be seen every day on Sprout at 2:00 p.m. ET and every Saturday morning on the new NBC Kids block.

Stunning PR has helped to align the key character Sportacus and its creator Magnus Scheving with public health campaigns to combat childhood obesity in the UK, US, South America and Continental Europe. Stunning PR established a relationship with the UK’s Department of Health resulting in a year long campaign called ‘The LazyTown Challenge” aimed at preschool children and their parents via Sure Start Centres.

Pete Thomas “Midnight in the Naked City”

When Pete Thomas, saxophonist and composer extraordinaire decided to release a new CD, he called upon Stunning PR to help him. A bluesy record with a real retro sound, the CD was picked up for review by Jazzwise and has been on rotation on specialist jazz radio programmes, Jazz Waves, Jazz with John Hellings, Jazz from the Terrace and others. Said broadcaster Malcolm Bland, “…I’ve always enjoyed a bit of “honking”, from the likes of Maxwell Davis, King Curtis and of course Jimmy Forrest. Pete is right up there with them.”

Art You Grew Up With

Mickey Mouse’s birthday and a specialist sale of rare animation cell art were a great excuse to push the boat out on behalf of Art You Grew Up With, a client we’ve been working with for almost a decade.  With a fantastic selection of rare images showing Mickey Mouse in his earliest incarnation, we gave an exclusive to The Times who ran a half page feature. The article immediately led to a very big sale for the gallery proving that targeted PR does work!
