Giovanna Ticciati – An Exciting, New Interiors Shop/Gallery Opens in Petworth

In Petworth, a town known for its antique shops, Giovanna Ticciati has added a new dimension. An interiors shop and gallery, selling a mix of contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories, 18th-20th century antiques and art, the unifying thread is beauty, good design and excellent craftsmanship.

Antique furniture with clean lines and upholstery in luxurious fabrics give a relaxed, elegant and modern feel, while contemporary furniture ranges from the multi award winning injection moulded Bellini Chair to reissued designs by Gio Ponti.

Giovanna Ticciati seeks out, supports and promotes new talent and artisans from around the world and many unique, hand made and exclusive pieces can be found in the shop in addition to one off and limited edition photographs.

For those unable to make the journey to Petworth, the website (http://www.giovannaticciati.com) is constantly updated as new pieces come in.

Giovanna Ticciati has worked as an art director and on design projects creating scenes and interiors. She has sourced and commissioned pieces compiling an extensive sourcebook and discovering small workshops.

‘It is very exciting when you find someone immersed in their craft who can make something exquisitely for you. Equally it is frustrating when they are making something beautiful that you cannot fit into a brief. The same is true when looking for furniture; somehow it is the pieces you had to leave behind that you cannot forget.’ This is how the idea of the shop began to develop and Giovanna Ticciati opened in December 2007.

Ex-Fox Linton Designer Launches Tanya Stanley Associates

Interior Designer Tanya Stanley (ex Fox Linton Associates) has set up a private interiors designs company to focus on residential. Her previous work includes the show flat for The Woods at Bishops Avenue, The Phillimores Kensington show flat, Dukes Hotel, The Grove Hotel, a St. Petersburg six star Hotel and private residences throughout West London.

A trained architect, Tanya’s expertise is in creating striking, luxurious, functional interiors which complement the client’s lifestyle and budget. Through ten years of working in interior design, she has access to a fantastic list of unusual suppliers of fabrics, furniture, lighting, artwork, accessories, wall finishes and specialist contractors.

She is happy to take on the smallest project – from updating a child’s bedroom to a whole house refurb. As an architect, she can design alterations, deal with councils and builders seeing a project through from start to finish, working on budgets from £1k upwards.

Prior to Fox Linton, Tanya worked as an interior designer in New York, Sydney & Dublin.
